Welcome to NewBody Therapy. We are delighted to announce our new Neuromuscular Therapy clinic located in the Donaghmore/Ashbourne GAA club. Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a physical therapy specializing in the treatment of soft tissue pain and injury, NMT is innovative in that it combines the best selection of soft tissue manipulation techniques developed by pioneers from a variety of different professions such as osteopathy, chiropractic, trigger point therapy, massage therapy, and physiotherapy.
Neuromuscular therapy enhances the function of joints, muscles, and the general arthrokinematics of the body. Special focus is given to the treatment of trigger points, local ischemia, neural interferences, postural and biomechanical dysfunctions, nutritional factors, and emotional well being.
